From farmhouse to 4-star hotel
How did Grubacher become the charming and cosy hotel it is today? It all started with a small, special farm. Bernhard’s parents, Johann and Barbara, managed it with hearts full of passion. At that time, the guest list consisted mainly of youth groups. Eventually, they decided to add a new building with rooms and suites to the farmhouse to turn Grubacher into a holiday destination for couples and romantics. In 2005, their plan was put into action and since then, the new building houses the restaurant, kitchen, wine cellar, and new rooms. Our Grubacher now enjoys four stars and the perfect blend of rustic atmosphere and modern style.
Now it’s time for the next Grubacher generation: We, Bernhard and Gina, have taken over and are looking after the hotel with just as much passion as Bernhard’s parents did back in their day. In addition to the highlights they already provided, you can now look forward to even more family and children’s specials. Join us and feel at home!
