Five side valleys extend from Gerlos, offering you numerous opportunities for your own personal summit happiness:

An Eldorado for bikers
Are you in the mood for flows, drops, and northstore elements? Then head for the Zillertal Arena! Numerous scenic mountain bike tours and spectacular downhill trails await you here. Beginners can work off their energy on the Iss-Flow or the Iss-Shore, advanced bikers show their skills on the Iss-Natural and the Iss-Vertical.
All trails start at Isskogel cable car mountain station and lead over waves, curves, bridges, and other elements down into the valley. Of course, leisurely mountain bike trails for more relaxed cyclists can also be found here. So, get on your saddle and ride!
“Heaven on Earth” for climbers
Every climber’s heart will skip a beat here: the Zillertal Arena awaits you with spectacular via ferratas for adrenaline junkies and comfortable adventure gardens for families. How about the 380-metre Gerlossteinwand via ferrata, for example, which leads 240 metres upwards, or the Talbach via ferrata, which is ideal for families and beginners?
Or would you rather spend a fulfilling day in Riederklamm climbing garden? Here, you can improve your sense of balance and climbing skills with your children. Climbing has never been so fun!
A power spot for golfers
Improving your tee shots and feeding fish at the same time – you’d think that these two would never, ever go together, right? Au contraire! At the Durlaßboden Reservoir, you can perfect your swings on the lakeshore with golf balls that dissolve in the water and become fish food. Yes, you read that right! After training, you can refresh yourself in the swimming lake, as it’s also a popular destination for swimming.
